핸드 아이 서플라이(Hand Eye Supply)가 데스크 인스파이어드(Desk Inspired)를 통해, 포틀랜드(Portland) 지역의 총 21명의 크리에이터들을 찾아 그들의 책상 위 모습을 고스란히 소개하였다. 책상 위에 과연 어떠한 도구들이 놓여 있는지, 또 어떠한 곳에서 작업을 하고 있는지 작업 공간의 생생한 모습까지도 담았다.
핸디 아이 서플라이(Handy Eye Supply)에서라면 작업에 필요한 갖가지 도구를 손쉽게 만날 수 있다. 작업복에서 보호 장구, 드로잉용 스케치북에서 앞치마 심지어 도끼까지 말이다. 그렇다고 핸디 아이 서플라이가 책상과 소원한 사이만은 아니다. 기술의 전환과 변화하는 분야 속에서 더욱 많은 도구가 컴퓨터 안에, 책상 위에 자리를 잡았다. 핸디 아이 서플라이가 크리에이터들의 책상 위를 살펴보기로 한 까닭이다.
