케노르 그래피티 그룹(Kenor Graffiti Group)

몇 해 전 바르셀로나는 유럽 혹은 전 세계의 그래피티 작가들의 꿈의 도시였다. 엄청난 공사가 있었고 공사장 주변을 보호하기 위한 벽면을 거리의 작가들에게 골고루 큰 제제 없이 작품 활동이 가능하도록 허용하였던 것이다. 수많은 관광객들이 예술로 승화된 작품을 보기위해 뒷골목으로 몰리는 기이한 현상까지 만들어졌다. 그 몇 년이 지나 벽들이 도시에서 하나둘 사라지고 요즘은 그래피티 작품수도 급격히 줄어드는 상태이다. 그 중 케노르라고 불리우는 그래피티 그룹의 작품은 예술의 경지에 이르렀고 오래된 벽들을 찾아 유럽을 누비며 활발한 작업을 하고 있는 그래피티 그룹이다. 그 중 여러 작품을 바르셀로나에서 하였다. 이 작가 미상의 그룹의 거대한 벽화 작품을 만나보자. 방치된 공공장소에 혹은 평범한 이웃의 높은 벽을 이용한 벽화가 얼마나 화려하고 아름다울 수 있고 예술적 가치를 보여줄 수 있는지 감상해 보자.
